The founder and chairman of the company is Victor Roberts
who setup the initial venture as a plastering contractor in 1962, but over the years has now expanded the operations providing firm foundations for the future.

Tony Roberts, the son of the founder and chairman, is the managing director of Acorn Building Services Ltd and generally oversees the day to day running of all the departments with his wife, Jane Roberts, who is the company secretary and is mainly involved with the administration side of the company.

In April 1996 due to continued expansion and growth the company relocated into new purpose built prestigious premises on the Leigh Business Park Estate adjacent to the A580 East Lancs Road in Leigh. Where we are now able to expand from our existing premises without neglecting the quality of service.
Acorn building Services prides itself on carrying out work using a skilled workforce without the necessity to use external contractors. The company has been built on stable workforce many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years.
All work carried out by Acorn Building Services is fully insurance backed which means that those who use our sevices are guaranteed to feel secure in the work carried out. Acorn Building Services is a fully quality assured to ISO9001 with all employees carrying a CSCS cards showing they are trained to an approved accredited standard.
