Where masonry has cracked and failed as a result of ground movement weathering or increasing loads and stress Acorn Builders utilise the Thor Heliforce beaming system which provides stress free bed joint reinforcement which ties the masonry together whilst creating deep masonry beams which distribute the structural loads.

Other ties and fixings provide appropriate lateral and vertical restraint to complete the system, which is applicable to all types of masonry structure.

• Reconnection of Partition Walls

Grout ties used to reconnect the internal partition to the external wall, with minimal internal disturbance.  The 14mm pilot hole is the only visible disturbance to the wall.

• Retro Fitted Lateral Restraints

Thor LRT's and Thor restraint ties used to fix external masonry to the end grain of the internal floor joists, transferring forces through the stable diaphragm of the internal floor,  The requirement for unsightly patress plates is removed.  The 12mm pilot hole is easily made good.
